Rosco (Scirocco) 1988 17.1 hh Gelding Dark Bay  (0002615)
Rosco was originally rehomed by the VHS in 2004 and has been with his carer for
5 years, sadly due to the economical climate, Rosco needs to find a new home,
something his carer certainly did not want to happen. He can be ridden but needs
bringing back slowly as he has little top line now.

He had bad joints from birth so he's not for tight turns, jumping etc, and being out
seems to do his mobility a lot of good.  He now likes to live out if given a choice. He
is fine to rug, shoe/trim (not shod for about 2 years now), load lovely to handle,
lead, stands with out head-collar to be groomed/fussed/any type of attention really!
Situated in Herefordshire.
Duette is a gentle, sweet mare, looking for a carer due to hers owners health and
family commitments. She has been with her current owner for the last 5 years and
together they have enjoyed many pleasure and charity rides. Duette is happy to
hack out alone and in company. She has won three Riding Club Championships in
Veteran Showing and lots of firsts and seconds at local shows. Duette is a good
doer for a TB and keeps her weight well during the winter, she is stabled at night
as she doesn't like the cold.
Duette will come with a full wardrobe of rugs and her tack. She is good to shoe, clip,
travel and is good with children and dogs. If you can offer Duette a home with the
attention and time she deserves, please contact the VHS.

Gemma, approx age 20. 80185B Chestnut Gelderlander Mare. 16hh.

Gemma is looking for a retirement home as a companion. The vet approximates
her age at 20+. She is retired but enjoys to walk out in company.
Gemma has 2 sarcoids on her ear but no other special needs. She is stabled in
the winter but is able to live out the rest of the year.Gemma is barefoot trimmed
and good with the farrier.
Gemma is a sweet horse. She can be timid until she gets to know you. Please give
the VHS a call if you are able to offer Gemma a forever home.
Dolce Vita 0025915A. Dark Bay WBxTB mare.16.1hh D.O.B 1992 age 17.
Vita is looking for a new home due to her owners ill health. She is broken but has
been kept as a companon for the last 5 years. She is by the stallion 'Demonstrator
out of a T.B mare by Current Magic. She has been shown very successfully, and
her achievemnents include winning the 'Great Yorkshire Show' as a 3 yr old.
Vita had laminatis 3 years ago but is now sound and recovered although needs to
be managed correctly. Other than this she has no special needs. Vita would be
ideal for someone wishing to show in VHS classes.

Woman is a very intelligent mare with a gentle manner and an exceptionally kind
temperament. She is stunning middleweight lady with a very pretty face.  Woman is
a good doer and her weight needs to be managed carefully. She is good for the
farrier, vet, dentist etc. She needs to be stabled at night in winter as she dislikes
being out in bad weather. She has been professionally schooled up to medium
level dressage in the past but a suspected tendon injury means she can only be
lightly hacked now. Woman is good in traffic and will hack on her own although she
prefers company. She does require knowledgeable handling as she can very
occasionally react if she is placed in a very stressful situation. This beautiful kind
mare simply loves attention and will make the most rewarding of partners for the
right carer. This is a heartbreaking re-homing application due to change of
financial circumstances

Jane Doe (0025910A) 16 hh Dark Bay Mare. Part Bred C/B 20 years old
(0025530A) Yoggi (Analogue) 16.1hh Bay TB gelding. D.O.B 1992 17yrs.
Yoggi is a gentle chap and fairly laidback for a TB. He is in full work. He works well
in an outline in the school and has a lovely trot. . He has some stiffness in his
hocks but doesn't need any medication for this. Yoggi requires sensitive handling
due being "cold backed". He loves to hack and hunt. He can jump, (though best
suited to max 3') he has BE, BD and BSJA points. He is good in traffic and with the
farrier. Yoggi is a quiet ride but not a plodder. He is looking for a new home as he
lacks a rider.

Sam Brown  (0025771)  1989 17.1hh Bay ¾ French TB Gelding
Sam is being rehomed as his owner not being able to fully care for him as he
would like to.  Sam is a sensible, forward going and responsive ride. He is good in
traffic and is ridden weekly at present. He would enjoy being brought back into full
work and comes with all his tack and rugs. He has done dressage and show
jumping in the past. He is good to handle, travel and shoe. His only vice is he used
to windsuck when stressed. He has a collar for this although he hasn’t needed to
wear it for a long time. Sam is a pleasant, laid back gent and always eager to
please. He has plenty of life ahead of him and is looking for a home that can give
him the care and attention he has always been shown.

ideal companion horse.
Cardiff
Brief Encounter (Wally) 0025415 DOB 1991 16hh chestnut gelding
One of the sweetest kindest horses you'll ever meet, Wally is an absolute pleasure
to have on the yard. Once a very successful show horse, he is now fully retired
and looking for a five star home. Wally makes the most perfect companion horse,
getting on with mares and geldings, youngstock and oldies alike! He is happiest
living out as much as possible, well rugged in winter. He comes in overnight in bad
weather but dislikes being stabled any longer than this. He currently has front
shoes when the ground is hard. Wally is an extremely easy horse and comes with
clean bill of health and is up to date with vaccinations. This lovely chap thrives on
cuddles and TLC - I know his new carer will find him most rewarding. He is sadly up
for rehoming due to unforeseen circumstances.
