Veteran Horse Society Membership
A Horse Registration document/Overstamping application must be completed and included in any Membership application, WITHOUT this your membership WILL NOT BE PRODUCED. We must have the complete information to issue a Membership or Registration number.
All Membership will run from 1st January to 31st December each year.
Membership can be an ideal gift for any occasion, a gift voucher is available. This voucher will act as payment.

To join you need to complete a Membership Application Form, Passport overstamp Form. All minors (16 and under must have this signed by parent or guardian). We will then require your veteran's equine passport and 2 photographs, which will be kept on file. Please note that these photographs maybe used to promote the Society so please seek the permission of the person or professional who took the photograph.
YOU MUST PRODUCE YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND SHOWING CARD FOR THE JUDGE AND STEWARD AS PROOF OF MEMBERSHIP. QUALIFICATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT EITHER OFFICE WITHOUT THIS.
Send all these applications and documents to Head Office with the full payment.
Age badges and membership Badges are optional at the area qualifiers but age badges must be worn at Regional Finals and Olympia.
Personal Membership both Senior and Junior £35.00 (this includes £5.00 joining fee)
Renewal is by standing order £25.00 these are sent out with your membership pack.
TO AVOID CONFUSION PLEASE INDICATE WHETHER YOU HAVE EVER BEEN A VHS MEMBER IN THE PAST.
PLEASE INDICATE HOW MANY HORSES YOU HAVE CURRENTLY REGISTERED WITH THE SOCIETY.
Passport Equine overstamp
We do require your horses Passport to overstamp as proof of registration to the Society. If this is not sent with your application we will be unable to qualify for any Regional Final.
Whilst we do recommend recorded delivery, we do ask that no specific time is put on the delivery. Our post is the last delivery of the day and rarely reaches us before 3pm Recorded delivery is around £5.00
Age badges £2.00 available from the showing office.
Membership badges optional £5.00.
These small enamel lapel badges are optional but gives others at shows identification to the Society these remain again at £5.00
All VHS members who actively support showing veterans, will now as a benefit to the Membership package receive Showing World bi-monthly.
To Pay by debit/credit card you need to download this form, due to the high volume of renewals, we do ask that all Members renew by standing order. This will not only cut down on our growing administration costs, but will also automatically go through on your renewal date, without any worry to yourselves and your Membership Card will automatically be sent to you by post. A standing order form will be sent out in all new Membership packs, please help us to help you.
If you do not renew by 1st January of each year, you will be asked to re-join at the full cost of £30.00
Membership is non-refundable
To compete your veteran the following year in any Veteran Horse disciplines including performance awards but MUST register your veteran again by 31st December for the following year. Any Horse competing must hold a valid Registration card, points will not be awarded without proof of this.
All horse registrations are taken by the showing office for showing and performance awards.
Dressage cards to be applied for to the Dressage office.
