A new equine therapy system now available through
The Veteran Horse Society.

For the first time, an equine organisation is combining its experience and skills to assist
horses and their owners through Animal Communication and Reconnective Healing.

Julianne, founder of the Veteran Horse Society and Jean, an experienced
animal healer, have found that by working together they are able to assist horses that
don’t respond to conventional channels alone. Their holistic approach to healing and
understanding a horse’s wider needs has brought positive results with testimonials from
the owners of horses that Julianne and Jean have already been able to help.

Animal Communication is all about tuning into a horse’s subconscious to help resolve
deep-seated issues that could be affecting its current behaviour.  Listening to an animal’
s thoughts and feelings, fears, anxieties, anger, frustration or pain – possibly from a
past experience, enables the therapist to understand the causes of unwanted
behaviour –from the horse’s perspective. Rather than trying to force a new behaviour
on the horse, Julianne works with the animal to create a two-way dialogue of trust and
communication. This is where Julianne excels with her patience and natural talent for
listening to horses.

Reconnective Healing is a widely used and recognised human therapy that works
with the body’s energy frequencies. It is often a life-changing experience as the body’s
own ability to heal itself both physically, emotionally and spiritually are heightened. Jean
trained in America and France and has found that horses are particularly receptive to
this form of healing which brings new levels of energy working with every system within
the body and promotes a deep sense of peace and relaxation in the horses she treats.
This positive energy remains with the horse and continues to work long after the
therapy session.

The unique combination of Animal Communication and Reconnective Healing creates a
bridge for the purpose of healing and understanding and is now available to horse
owners in the UK.

Services Offered - The aim of the Veteran Horse Centre is to promote and demonstrate good equine welfare practices and to rehabilitate the horses to enable them to live a healthier life and ultimately be re-homed. The Centre is a safe environment for healing and recovery combining Julianne's wealth of equine knowledge with the complimentary therapies of Communication and Reconnective Healing

“B was tearful, low in spirit
and on the verge of giving up
on life completely.  It was
awful to watch and to be
around her.  We knew what
the problem was but didn’t
know how to help her.  After
Jean’s visit her whole outlook
seemed to change.  Now B is
back to her usual self and
even enjoys the occasional
gallop which, at 34 and with
arthritic legs, we are in awe to
see.” Yard Manager – Karen
Dobson
