VHS Bill & Ben

Spring 2008

These two boys are still as cheeky as ever, spending a lot of their time playing with each other as well as Tommy. During the summer months they were in a lot due to both of them having a touch of laminitis but they now spend their days out on restricted grazing and their night next to each other in their boxes.
Ben hasn’t been able to keep himself warm enough during the winter months, even having had a few chills, so he is now double rugged both day and night when the weather is cold. I’m sure they are looking forward to nicer weather where they can roll and get covered head to toe in mud.
These two are fed on a high fibre diet with very little protein as they are both prone to laminitis and are quite podgy for the time of year.

Our Guinness Book Record identical brothers have a massive personality and a so very sweet. They adore playing with Tommy and are as cheeky as they look. They were originally on our books for rehoming but needed to come to the centre as high maintenance ponies in 2006, where they will now remain

They are the oldest living identical ponies in the world and despite being identical brothers they do have their own and very unique personalities.
Being native they are good doers and a special eye needs to be kept on their weight.
They are both fed Safe and Sound by Dodson and Horrell with just garlic as a supplement.
These two are very popular for our ‘own a pony for a day’ which children.
