Visiting the Rehabilitation Centre - more than you think
Opening hours for supporters 11am – 3pm.
Supporters wishing to obtain horse passports usual office hours apply Monday
– Friday
Please look for the hand painted sign, we are locate at the bottom
of the track, on the right hand sign as you leave the concrete drive, please
drive up to the car park situated at the top of the centre.

a guided tour and information on walks in the area, please call us first so

Why not bring a picnic
and make the most of the beautiful coast path, with stunning wildlife and nature
walks along side stunning coast views and waterfalls.
The Centre is situated on the stunning West coast of Wales and host and abundance
of wildlife and natural beauty. To the West of the Centre is the stunning Preseli
Mountains and to the East is the breath taking coast line which plays host to
the migrating families of Bottlenose Dolphins. Grey Seals can also be found
just off the rocky coast line. Not only is this shore rich in history but is
home to many rare species of birds.

Along with many family attractions and friendly guest houses, you can spend
time with the staff and meet many of the horses that have been rescued and rehabilitated.

Educational Programmes.
The Society has many visitors to the centre throughout
the year and has had many schools placements in 2007. Delin pictured here has
featured the VHS as part of her school project and Hercules was one of her favourite
horses. The VHS welcomes any school or college for placements and offers a n
intensive programme to horse veteran welfare and management, a unique opportunity
for students in the area, as many come a far as Scotland to learn about veteran
welfare.
